Bayer again took centre stage this year at the 9th CRI Citrus Research Symposium.
Our aim was to meet the citrus farmers by being different and noticed among the more than 600 delegates and numerous exhibits. The Bayer message was simple – showing Science for a Better Life through the Committed to the Future Campaign ultimately adding value on farm level. Delegates were enticed to visit the Bayer exhibition by offering a cup of coffee freshly prepared by a professional barista. This initiative to be different and always on the fore front of innovation insured that Bayer gained maximum exposure. The superior quality and formulation expected from Bayer were conveyed by skilled citrus team and a professional video exhibition. The efficacy of Basta 200SL compared generic offerings were exceptionally demonstrated by a time lapsed video, again proving the quality synonymous with the Bayer cross.
The Bayer team interacted with farmers and industry role players during the symposium discussing important industry aspects. Gaining valuable experience and insuring that we are abreast with the newest trends in the industry are also a key focus for Bayer. Continuing onwards after the symposium, meetings that were planned between Bayer employees and farmers at the symposium already took place in early September.
Bayer will continue playing a key role in the citrus industry and new products will be launched in this segment before the 10th CRI Research Symposium in 2018. We will always keep close to our roots: Science for A Better Life.
